Women's U19 World Cup schedule announced; Nepal to open against Ireland

The tournament is scheduled in Nepal and Bangladesh from January 21 to February 6, with 16 teams playing 41 matches.

According to the schedule released by the International Cricket Council on October 21, the 2027 Women's U19 T20 World Cup will take place in Nepal and Bangladesh from January 21 to February 6. Sixteen teams are scheduled to play 41 matches.

Nepal is in Group A with India, Ireland and the West Indies. Nepal's opening match against Ireland is scheduled for January 22 at the TU cricket ground in Kirtipur. India is also scheduled to begin its title defence against the West Indies in Kathmandu that day.

Kathmandu's TU International Cricket Ground and Upper Mulpani International Cricket Ground are tournament venues. Matches in Bangladesh are scheduled in Chattogram and Sylhet.

The group stage runs through January 26, followed by the Super Six stage. The semi-finals are scheduled for February 4 and the final for February 6, with February 7 designated as a reserve day for the final.
